LET'S MOTIVATE OUR SELF

Dear readers,

A universal fact is that motivation is like a medicine that stimulates desire and energy in us to be continually interested and committed to a job, role or subject, or to make an effort to attain a goal.

Motivation results from the interaction of both conscious and unconscious factors such as the

(1) Intensity of desire or need

(2) Incentive or reward value of the goal

 (3) Expectations of the individual and of his or her peers.

These factors are the reasons for us to behave a certain way.

An example is a student that spends extra time studying for a test because he or she wants a better grade in the class.

In this series we are going to provide you real time motivational stories, about the biography of real life heroes.

Isro's indigenous cryogenic engine completes ground test

Mastering a complex technology once denied to India, the Indian Space Research Organisation or ISRO crossed an important milestone today when it successfully tested the country's latest and most powerful cryogenic engine for 800 seconds.

The cryogenic engine will power ISRO's next generation monster rocket, the Geo-synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III, capable of carrying the 8 ton class of satellites to space

Isro's indigenously developed High Thrust Cryogenic Rocket Engine has successfully completed a ground test for a duration of 800 seconds on July 16. This is India's first such indigenously developed engine.

The engine, generating a nominal thrust of 19 tonnes was successfully endured the hot test at the Isro Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri.

"Mastering this complex, high performance cryogenic propulsion technology will go a long way in building self reliance for the Indian space programme,"
